Well done for uploading this, many people would have self-censored.

Society has a way of demonising some things that at one time had a perfectly innocent use, and even if the term wasn't innocent it is still a part of our history.

I remember my gran having a cat called 'nigger', which at one time just refered to black as a colour. It was many years before I heard it as a derogatory term.

I recently didn't submit a fractal image because it looked like a swastika, even though that icon was used by American Indians hundreds of years before Hitler. Even his style of moustache is seen as offensive now, though at one time it was very fashionable (mainly because that place is difficult to get to with a cut-throat razor)

... and now I'm ranting. Sorry

Yes, it's sad that people have to put each other down like that. We are all the same and love, hurt and feel pain in the same way. The use of the Swastika goes back even longer, the ancient Egyptian's use it quite a lot. Thank you for your comments and for the :+fav:'s It's kind of you.

I was a bit worried about this one, you couldn't use words like that now. Good thing really.

Well.. down south they have places like that actually named for the animals and no ethnic references back at that time..I think those derogatory terms came a bit later..but ya.. good they don't use them now
